To save on lighting, consider using compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFLs). They cost a little more than regular bulbs, but in the long run CFLs can last up to 10 times longer than the tradition lightbulbs. To save a little more, try installing dimmer switches and timers to lower your electric bill inside and out. You'll not only be saving money but goin green, so lighten up. - CT

Great tip! We have changed out most all of our bulbs to CFL's and have new LED lights for our Christmas Tree! Hope everyone has a very Happy Holiday and a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year!

Thanks for the reminder on the Christmas tree. That's a great tip too! Happy Holiday to you both as well! - CT
Good reminder, CT. I've been trying to change a lot of mine out. Some of my lights would look dumb with those lightbulbs in them, but we don't use those lights much. The ones we use all the time I have switched out already.
